The economics of Turkish accession

The author argues in support of the inclusion of Turkey in the European Union (EU), asserting that concerns that it negatively affects the EU economy are inaccurate. The publication lists several reasons supporting its inclusion, including the availability of a young Turkish workforce to replace the aging European population, its existing customs union that could facilitate accession talks, and its progressive economic policies.
